The economic crisis of our country has continued for two years now, and many businesses have felt or are beginning to feel the effects of it. People are more careful with their money, and there's less spending on luxury items. How can you market your African products while caring for your customers needs and giving them something they can benefit from without a lot of money?1. African Soaps and CleansersThe average price of a drugstore brand facial cleanser is .76. People are willing to spend that much for a product they feel will help their skin, get rid of acne, or keep them looking younger longer. The average retail cost of natural African soap? .98. The benefit? Almost all of Africa Imports soaps are all-natural, meaning they are going to be much more beneficial to your customers skin. Drugstore-brand cleansers are generally filled with mineral oil, perfumes, dyes, and chemicals that irritate and worsen skin. Natural African honeys, herbs, and botanical extracts provide quick healing and are great for babies, adults, and people with sensitive skin. If you look on Africa Imports you can find soaps to target towards people with acne, aging skin, etc. Soap is one of the best ways to draw attention from customers right now, and the best part is you're giving them a product that will really work and will improve their lives considerably.2. Shea ButterShea butter is practical for nearly anyone. Mom's can use it for their babies skin, for diaper rash, to get rid of stretch marks or dryness. Men can use it to keep their skin healthy longer, to relieve razor burn, or to use as a lip balm. You can use it to nourish your hair, skin, even your nails! You can even use it in cooking, as its high vitamin and mineral content is a much healthier alternative to butter and other oils. Skin care products like lotions, diaper rash creams and hair treatments are generally quite expensive, even at a drugstore. Shea butter comes in two different colors. There are many variables that determine whether shea butter is white or yellow. It can be the season in which the shea nuts are picked or the fatty acid in the shea nut itself. The general conclusion is that the color of shea butter is most determined by how it is extracted from the shea nut. If it is boiled or mixed for a longer period of time it normally has a lighter color. If it is mixed or boiled for a shorter period of time it normally has a greener or more yellow color. Either way there's absolutely no difference in the quality of the shea butter. Some prefer a darker or lighter color because of habit, but the general consensus is that it makes no difference in the use or quality. A 4 oz. jar of shea butter is only .95, and everyone in the family can use it. 3. Fragrance OilsDo you know the average cost of a 2 oz. bottle of perfume is ? You can get a 4 oz. bottle of fragrance oil for only .90 retail, and the best part? It lasts longer and is higher-quality than perfume. While perfume is made up of about 95% alcohol and 5% actual essential oils, fragrance oils are made up of 50% essential oils and 50% natural carrier oils like sweet almond oil, sunflower oil or jojoba oil. The quality is better, the fragrance lasts longer, and it's affordable!
